Emerald Choral Academy

The Emerald Choral Academy is a series of interactive webinars during which Seattle's leading professional choristers reveal their personal tricks of the trade to community singers. These webinars are then made available freely to singers across the world via YouTube.
We offer a mixture of presentations on vocal technique and other matters that will help the choral singer to improve their skills and musicality. Presentations on vocal anatomy and technique form the backbone of the series. There are also offerings dealing with rehearsal technique, diction, music history, music theory, and other topics relevant to the avocational choral singer.
The Emerald Choral Academy was designed as a service to the community during the covid-19 pandemic. As such, its activities are currently suspended, though it may resume at any time. However, the videos will remain on YouTube in perpetuity.
